After building a project, like an app or website, “shipping” is publishing & sharing it online.
Students in many traditional computer science classes are lucky to make a single project. At Hack Clubs, every member makes & ships their first website their very first meeting.
Instead of learning programming concepts in isolation, learning by shipping means you focus on what you need to build real projects. It’s more fun & leads to better learning.
Finished modeling the “final” crane in Blender for my Roblox Mars game and added it to Roblox Studio. Now, working on modeling the final sci-fi rocket ship. Link to the deployed models in the game: www.roblox.com/games/18259376416/Rockets Repo link: github.com/sapientabdullah/RocketBase
After fixing a few bugs, the scrapbook raycast extension is now available in the raycast store. Check it out here: www.raycast.com/fakerr/scrapbook
The website is still in progress but here is the github: github.com/SaMoTechRobotics/SaMoTechRobotics-Website and the current released site: samotechrobotics.com. Also here's is a little sneak peek of the new design, which is still to be worked on. This is a website for my robotics team, I made it because I wanted to make a website with a cool theme. To clarify for the reviewers, I made this by myself purely for fun and hopefully if my team likes it we'll use it next year, mainly I just thought it'd be a fun arcade project to remake it with a new design.

ship ship ship :shipitparrot: :shipitparrot: I finally created a new personal website. This is made using Nuxt.js. I knew nothing about nuxt and it's honestly so complicated haha, I still hate it. I would choose Next>Nuxt anyday. But yes, nuxt does have some quirky features that come in handy. It's just really different from React (cuz it's a vue framework). ANYWAYS, I am really satisfied with my website, this took my waaaayyyyy longer than it should have. Github: github.com/DevSrijit/canvas Live: portfolio.srijit.co (p.s. this is actually a super dupa complex project made by: github.com/HugoRCD/canvas, i changed of a lot of things here so yeah)
i made a smoll container ship in cad to put on a desk github.com/mtdapiggle/random-models
Rest Dashboard. + User Onboarding! SHIP
#scrapbook I built a basic chat application using PyQt and Socket.IO. The app has a simple GUI where you can send messages and see who's typing. It's not fully functional yet and is currently filled with errors. I'll fix these issues and complete the app in the future. (consider it a ship for now😅) Github: github.com/CoderFleet/SocketChatPyHackClub
repost for ship printerbench.vercel.app I made a website to help people choose their printer. this is community made so you can add your printer and give reviews for others to see on a leaderboard, compare existing printer's stats, and save printers as favorites to your profile if you have a 3d printer please add it to the database by filling out the form and feel free to give any feedback or suggestions github.com/GuySandler/PrinterBench-V3

a lot of stuff broke last week and turned blue, which is really horrible and unfortunate but I really don't mind those big ad displays going down... and since I can't hack into those (yet), digital ads would be a fun target so I spent a night hacking away at an extension, and it's finally approved and published it'll turn any Google Ad* into a BSOD, because why not? It's literally hacked together, but why don't you give it a try :p chromewebstore.google.com/detail/bsod-ads/opinilejfaejfdbgfnffdljndfdadjdf github.com/samdev-7/bsod-ads
I worked some more on the pancake maker. I think I’m pretty much done, was gonna try to adjust it to fit different screen sizes but couldn’t really figure it out. not sure if I’m supposed to scrapbook and ship it? First time completing a project so I’m not sure what to do. Game: popcorn4762.github.io/pancake-maker Repo: github.com/popcorn4762/pancake-maker
After about a month of work, I think it's ready to ship. My custom mechanical numberpad, the FX19, is open-source and uses 3D printed parts for the enclosure, keycaps, and even the rubber feet (TPU)! QMK is the preferred firmware, but you can use any firmware you'd like. Uses a custom PCB with an ATMEGA32u4 and USB-C connectivity for interfacing with modern devices. Get the files here: github.com/falsonix/fx19
Weeble is now stable and balancing well. Fun rotating head, eyes, and eyebrows working as well! Github here: github.com/BrandonKirbyson/Weeble

I just finished creating a magnetic encoder driver for the SimpleFOC motor control library! It is for the MA735 magnetic encoder, which supports variable resolution and speed, something the library didn't support yet. My pull request got merged! I forgot to update the main README file though with my encoder support beforehand, so people landing on the main page won't know about it without exploring 🙁. Github repo I initially developed the code in: github.com/techy-robot/Mighty-Micro-Motors/commits/main/Code/Motor_tests/ma735 My Fork: github.com/techy-robot/Arduino-FOC-drivers Pull request: github.com/simplefoc/Arduino-FOC-drivers/pull/45
